Gain confidence and expand your skills in free motion machine embroidery. If you are a quilter and fancy being more creative in building up a landscape picture, or and an embroiderer, who needs more creative direction, this will be invaluable. You’ll gain confidence drawing with your sewing machine, and we will iron out any gremlins to continue your FME journey at home. You will leave with a near finished piece of embroidery, and friends for life, as everyone is part of my textile family!
ACCOMMODATION
If you fancy making a real break of it and staying at Abigail’s beautiful C17 home in the Waveney Valley then there are rooms available on a first come, first served basis. You will be sharing the bathrooms with fellow sewing guests, so if you travel as a group this is perfect. One warning is that you’ll need to be a dog lover as Monty our GSP isn’t backward at coming guessed, and will want to make friends!
3x doubles @ £65
1x Single @ £45 ………. including breakfast.
Available for one or two nights if you want to arrive on Tuesday evening ready for a fresh start on Wednesday. There might be a pub for the evening meal too!

THE COURSE
Gain confidence and expand your skills in free motion machine embroidery. Iron out any Gremlins and leave with confidence and new found skills. If you are a quilter and fancy being more creative in building up a landscape picture, or and an embroiderer, who needs more creative direction, this will be invaluable.
I will initially run through the FM techniques at the beginning of the course then guide you on a more creative journey, to leave with a nearly finished embroidered picture. " Landscapes" will be the subject matter, which can include Seaside. There will be a couple of demos in the morning with some stitch ideas, before working on your own personal embroidered picture, using your new found skills I will also demo building up a picture and composition
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Sewing machine which converts to FME with a Darning / Quilting Foot. Ability to drop the feed dogs.
Basic sewing kit including a variety of sewing threads/ Scissors/ Pins/ fabric stash.
