INTRODUCTION
This beautiful book is a celebration of the award-winning Textile Artist Abigail Mill’s 30 year career, inspired by her recent return home to the Waveney Valley, on the Norfolk / Suffolk borders. The River Waveney meanders through this Alfred Munnings territory. Abigail has also been inspired by it’s flood meadows, grazing cattle, stunning sunsets, and beautiful wildlife which inhabit this precious landscape and brought this imagery to life with her evocative embroidered artwork.
The book features six “step by step “sewing projects and an A1 pattern, for textile fans to have a go. Or use this as a Coffee Table book, enjoying it’s local knowledge, wildlife, photography, history, and escape into the magical world of the Waveney Valley!

This 98 page book, not only contains 60 pages of Step by Step projects, but Abigail has also included Fabrics, Threads, Sewing machines, Freemotion Machine Embroidery, and Trouble shooting.
Alongside these technical pages, Abigail has included some beautiful photography of landscapes, wildflowers, and sketches of the stunning surroundings that she is immersed in. She has been inspired by her daily dog walks, kayaking trips on the Waveney, changing seasons, and stunning sunsets. She has also written about her love affair with the Waveney Valley and local knowledge of the area from her childhood. It really is something for everyone!
The back cover contains a pocket including a large pattern sheet as a guide for the x6 projects in the book.
