Toadstool sewing kit

This  🍄 NEW TOADSTOOL DESIGN! 🍄 is really exciting and uses some luscious fabrics from Abigail’s collection. She’s mixed her personal hand dyed background fabrics, with the bright reds of printed quilting fabrics, and a a very special piece of her green organza, which has a slight sparkle to the background…. Like dew on the ground. There’s a piece of wadding too to create the 3D effect of the toadstool, and a length of May Arts ribbon to embellish the toadstools. It’s a really clever and effective design, and we hope that you’ll have fun making up the kit!

This can be sewn in a variety of ways; by hand, straight stitch machine, or free motion machine embroidery. The kit includes all of the fabrics that you will need, a pattern sheet, an instruction sheet. You will need scissors, cotton threads, pins and possibly fabric/ paper glue and a fabric pen  

All of the METTLER Variegated Threads that Abigail mentions in this kit are NOT included, but are from a special selection that are available from her website. She would recommend colours;

Why not purchase the book too for more in-depth embroidery inspiration. This sewing project can be a starting point. You can embellish the design with your own bits and pieces and adding a few of your own design ideas too! The finished embroidery can be mounted and framed
